Education & Dissemination
The Education & Dissemination Core shares evidence-based and emerging best practices and provides education and training for VA and community partners by developing uniform standards of care; designing and developing appropriate training methods; and disseminating the knowledge gained through the Center's work.

Center Series: The Center Webinar Series is held May-October on the first Wednesday of every month at 12:00PM EST. The intent of this program is to provide additional information on programs and research within the National Center on Homelessness among Veterans. 2013 Virtual Homeless Conference: The 2013 Virtual Homeless Conference will take place August 5-15, 2013 and will consist of 22 webinars over the 2 week course. The conference will have a (10 credit continuing education) core curriculum certificate program covering the following topics:

Veterans and Non-VA Benefits and Homelessness

A virtual poster session will also be available for viewing which will highligh success and creative approaches within the VHA homeless programs.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Training: The National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans is collaborating with the VHA Office of Mental Health Services and University of Pennsylvania's Aaron Beck Psychopathology Research Center in providing an innovative training program on a recovery-oriented CBT to the Housing First model within HUD-VASH.
