The Law Enforcement Training Center (LETC) provides special training for police officers working in a health care or service-oriented environment. Emphasizing training in medical center patient situations, the LETC provides training to approximately 2,700 law enforcement personnel working at VA health care facilities and to federal law enforcement professionals at other federal agencies, which include:

- Active Threat Recertification
- Firearms Instructor
- Firearms Recertification
- Ground Defense and Recovery Recertification
- Instructor Development
- Long Gun
- Physical Security Police Officer Standardized Training

The Personnel Security Adjudication Center (PSAC) provides quality and timely background investigations and adjudications for VA employees and contractors in sensitive positions for all VA entities nationwide. The PSAC also manages:
- National Security Background Investigations and Adjudications
- Public Trust Background Investigations and Adjudications
- Low Risk Background Investigations and Adjudications
- Reciprocation of a Prior Adjudication from other Federal Agencies
- Security Check for Candidate Requiring Approval of the Secretary
- Special Agreement Check (Fingerprint) Adjudication
- Fingerprint Submission
- Reissuance/Copy of Certificate of Investigation/Eligibility
