Data Sharing

The Geriatric & Extended Care Data & Analysis Center (GECDAC) may share some of the data that it has developed with both operational and research colleagues. The shared data may come from both VA and non-VA sources. GECDAC data includes cleaned versions of data fields such as costs, constructs and summaries of raw data such as age groups, and a display of the timeline of health services received. GECDAC also shares its skills and resources in data extraction, analytic methods and specific programs.

Data is only shared with authorized VA employees. For information on becoming a GECDAC collaborator, contact us at GECDAC@va.gov.
