Geriatric Training

This section on geriatric training for health care professionals includes:

  • Information about how to access VHA TRAIN – comprehensive courses for health care professionals with a focus on Veteran patient care. Free for both VA and non-VA employees.
  • Access to the Talent Management System (TMS), which provides mandatory and elective trainings. Many trainings offer CEUs in TMS through the Institute for Learning, Education and Development (ILEAD) (formerly EES).
  • A listing of geriatric courses available from GeriScholars – on topics ranging from clinical case studies to successful aging
