NEW: Quarterly Certification due in UDPaaS July 26, 2024 

The Quarter 3 (April 1-June 30) Certification is available in UDPaaS for completion through July 26, 2024. The SSVF Program Office requires all grantees to complete a Quarterly Certification in UDPaaS as defined in your grant’s signed Memorandum of Agreement. Please ensure accuracy of submission as the Program Office will compare all data provided through repository uploads from Quarter 3 of FY24.  The Companion Guide for completing the certification is available in UDPaaS for reference to complete the activity.

As SSVF grantees strive to provide the best services possible, finding free resources can be challenging. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has a variety of resources available.  Feel free to explore the website linked below.  Service delivery from a trauma-informed perspective can improve engagement and housing outcomes.  SAMHSA as a free resource by way of a Treatment Improvement Protocol (TIP) #57.  Additionally, you will find links to other resources and information about trauma-informed care.  Follow links below to learn more:

The SSVF Program Office would like to highlight the Center for Women Veterans to enhance grantee knowledge about special programs available to the Veterans you serve.  The Center for Women Veterans has a myriad of resources and information about health and wellness in addition to links to other helpful programs.  Please visit the Center for Women Veterans website linked below and share this information with the Veteran’s you serve.

RESOURCE: SOAR Webinar: Yes, You Can Work! June 2024 

This recorded webinar provides an overview of employment supports, opportunities, and benefits planning services available to individuals with disabilities.  

You’ll hear from a SOAR provider who will share their approach to discussing competitive work with SOAR-assisted SSI/SSDI applicants and collaborating with vocational rehabilitation programs. We will also be joined by an SSI/SSDI beneficiary who will share their personal experience working with a SOAR Specialist and Vocational Rehabilitation to successfully access SSA benefits and obtain employment.  

Tools and resources developed by the SAMHSA SOAR TA Center will be discussed and shared.
