Please join the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) informational webinar on their new Veteran Certification Program (VetCert) on March 1, 2023. SBA will discuss program benefits, eligibility requirements and changes to the program. This webinar is ideal for those who were previously verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). It will also provide helpful information if you are self-certified or interested in becoming certified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

 

As of January 1, 2023, the certification responsibility transferred from VA to the SBA. Because of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization’s mission to provide for the Veteran community, VA will provide SBA a virtual platform to advise Veteran entrepreneurs on the benefits of the VetCert program. SBA’s new program provides Veterans a central support for their small business certification needs.
