VA/DoD Coordination Resource Fairs
Coordinates all functions to provide VA Resource Fairs in the D.C. area, to include participation by VHA, VBA, NCA, and the Department of Labor for employment assistance. VA/DoD Coordination Office staff inform Veterans and Servicemembers about care, benefits, and services that they may be entitled to, including those eligible while on Active Duty.
The fair information also embraces Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve members, Veterans, and their families. Resource fairs occur mainly in the National Capital Region (i.e. Association of the US Army three-day Annual Exhibition, and quarterly at the Pentagon, VACO Canteen, Fort Belvoir, VA, and Fort Meade, MD).
