Dr. Ashley Willis was born and raised in Oklahoma, graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Zoology and Psychology (Boomer Sooner!).
She then obtained her medical degree in Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. Next, her training brought her to Atlanta, GA for residency at the Atlanta VA Medical Center where she was hired on as a full-time podiatrist once residency was completed. Currently, she is the podiatrist at one of the community-based outpatient clinics with the Atlanta VA at the Pike VA Clinic.
Dr. Willis is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and board qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine and acts as a residency program evaluator for the Council on Podiatric Medical Education. She enjoys providing care for our nation’s veterans as well as working with residents and students in a teaching hospital environment. In her free time, she stays busy with her husband, son, and 3 dogs. She loves reading books of any kind, throwing/attending college football watch parties, and listening to true crime podcasts on the long drives to work.
