Patrick Kirby

with over a decade of experience leading strategic communication efforts for the U.S. Army and Department of Veterans Affairs. He currently serves as the Public Affairs Officer for the VA Bedford Healthcare System, where he oversees internal and external communications.

Patrick earned a Master of Arts in Film and Media Production from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He leverages his education and multiple Adobe certifications to create visually compelling content that engages target audiences across multimedia platforms.

Throughout his military career, Patrick served in public affairs roles of increasing responsibility. As a Mass Communication Specialist, he managed nine public affairs specialists while enhancing the Army's image through polished multimedia productions. While deployed overseas, he diligently strengthened community relations and showcased unit activities through photos, videos, and news releases.

Patrick is passionate about the Veteran community and telling their stories through impactful visual mediums. He thrives on developing strategic communication plans and fostering relationships with stakeholders. When not working, Patrick enjoys nature photography, supporting animal welfare causes, and continuing his education. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Health Communication at Boston University.
