VISN 7 Academic Detailing, PMOP, STAR and pain are partnering together to increase overdose awareness this year. We will be observing National Overdose Awareness Day on Thursday, August 29th. There will be tables set up in the lobbies of the Main hospital, Annex, Huntsville Clinic and Birmingham East Clinic from 10AM – 2PM where Veterans can receive information regarding naloxone, medication disposal bags, overdose risk with opioids and stimulants and information about available programs.
