Develops innovative and novel statistical methods to support clinicians and health services researchers with study design and analysis. Dr. Gebregziabher also leads efforts for proposal development, manuscript development and mentoring of junior investigators. His areas of focus in the methods development include longitudinal data analysis, missing data, multiple outcomes modeling, competing risks models and general biostatistical models. In the area of collaboration, his interests include type-2 diabetes, cardiovascular outcomes, obesity, kidney transplantation, lung cancer, prostate cancer, opioid use, PTSD, substance abuse, Epilepsy, NAFLD and liver disease, stroke, alzheimer's disease and dementia, hearing loss, health equity, rural health, women’s health, medication adherence, medicare population and multimorbidity modeling. He is also interested in global health, and public health research.
