To protect both Veterans and VA staff from COVID-19, VA personnel and grantees assigned to homelessness programs, have implemented infection prevention techniques.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is awarding 239 grants totaling $798 million to community organizations under its Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program.

SSVF Initiatives are the most recent innovations our program has identified. Initiatives are a new approach to our work, a shift in the way we practice, or skills that we want to highlight and enhance.

The SSVF Program has helped thousands of Veteran households across the country to stabilize in permanent housing of their own.
