Why VA Houston: The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) has been incredibly open and welcoming from the very start. Every interaction-from preceptor to staff and former residents- was genuine and honest. The program fosters excellence in its residents by providing robust support, mentorship, and growth opportunities. Here, patient-centered care is more than an aspiration; it is a daily practice.
