Last week the Jackie Walorski VA Clinic accepted a large donation from the 2023 Memorial Day Murph Fundraiser.

In collaboration with the St. Joseph County Metro SWAT Team and Mishawaka Parks and Recreation, the fundraiser was conducted on Memorial Weekend. This year’s event raised $10,000 for the Jackie Walorski VA Clinic.

The "Murph" is a popular CrossFit workout named after Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. The workout consists of a 1-mile run, 100 Pull-ups, 200 Push-ups, 300 squats and another 1-mile run.

Over the last six years, the Memorial Day Murph Fundraiser has raised over $50,000 for the Jackie Walorski VA Clinic. VA Northern Indiana Health Care System would like to thank the St. Joseph County Metro SWAT Team, Mishawaka Parks and Recreation, and all the participants for their generous donation to support our Veterans.
