Prostate cancer and its treatments can impact patients’ physical and emotional health. Regular exercise and taking care of your mental health can help you live better after diagnosis and during treatment and recovery.

With PCF funding, researchers are developing new ways to improve patients’ quality of life and even lengthen survival. Our host, Dr. Phillip J. Koo, discusses the latest information and practical tips with our expert speakers.

  • Dr. Christina Dieli-Conwright (Dana Farber Cancer Institute) designs exercise programs for patients across stages of prostate cancer, from low-risk on active surveillance to metastatic disease.
  • Dr. Phoebe Tsao (Univ. of Michigan and the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System) is a medical oncologist who cares for patients with prostate cancer and is developing ways to lower depression and anxiety among Veterans treated with novel hormone therapy medicines.
