Dr. Stacey Scherpf has been with PVAHCS for over 25 years and currently serves as the Associate Director for Operations.

Dr. Scherpf provides executive leadership and oversight for Environmental Management Service, Health Administration Service, Nutrition Hospitality Food Service, Organizational Health and Experience, Radiation Safety, Police Service, and System Redesign. Dr. Scherpf also serves as the facility liaison to Prosthetics and Canteen Services.

Prior to being the Associate Director, Dr. Scherpf provided strategic direction, physical site management, and fiscal oversight for all 32nd Street operations including Primary Care, Mental Health, Imaging, Laboratory, Veteran Resource Center, Pharmacy, Health Administration Services, Canteen, Police, Office of Information and Technology, Logistics, Telehealth, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services and Specialty Care services.

Additionally, Dr. Scherpf served for over 12 years as the Chief of the Audiology and Speech Pathology Service as well as the VISN 22 Physical Medicine and Rehab Clinical Lead/REC ICC co-lead. She has held multiple leadership roles at local, VISN, and national levels within VHA and external professional organizations. Dr. Scherpf is VA-CASE LEAN Black Belt certified focusing on system redesign and process improvement aiming to improve health care delivery to Veterans. Dr. Scherpf received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University as well as graduate degrees from Arizona State University and AT Still University of Health Sciences. She is the proud granddaughter of a WWII USMC Veteran, daughter of USAF Veteran, as well as a sister to USAF (retired) and USN Veterans.
