VA Lung Cancer Screening Day
Did you know that lung cancer is the deadliest cancer among Veterans, but lung cancer screening can save lives.
VA uses screening to identify early-stage lung cancer.
Enrolled Veterans may qualify for lung cancer screening based on these criteria:
- Are 50 - 80 years old, and
- Smoke cigarettes now or quit within the past 15 years, and
- Smoked cigarettes for at least 20 pack-years
If yes to all 3, stop by our Lung Cancer Screening event happening November 9th from 10 am to 3 pm.
