VA Lung Cancer Screening Day

Lung cancer screening day event

Did you know that lung cancer is the deadliest cancer among Veterans, but lung cancer screening can save lives.

VA uses screening to identify early-stage lung cancer.

Enrolled Veterans may qualify for lung cancer screening based on these criteria:

  • Are 50 - 80 years old, and
  • Smoke cigarettes now or quit within the past 15 years, and
  • Smoked cigarettes for at least 20 pack-years

If yes to all 3, stop by our Lung Cancer Screening event  happening November 9th from 10 am to 3 pm.
