Ribka Ayana MD

She completed residency in Internal Medicine as well as chief residency at the George Washington University. Following chief year, Dr. Ayana joined the hospitalist group at the Washington DC VA Medical Center in 2014. She currently holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University and Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Ayana's primary area of interest is medical education. She is the director of the inpatient medicine consult service and assistant clerkship director for the VA acting internship in internal medicine.
