SAVE THE DATE! ?You are cordially invited to the Quadrennial VA Women Veterans Summit – “The?Year of Empowerment,”?September 5-7, 2024, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C. This year’s Summit will be hosted by the VA Center for Women Veterans (CWV) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Assault and Harassment Prevention Office (AHPO).? 

Women Veterans are the fastest-growing demographic within the Veteran community. We anticipate?attendance for the Summit is estimated at 800 participants. 

The Quadrennial VA Women Veterans Summit brings all of VA's resources and services in one place to connect women Veterans and transitioning service women to the benefits and services they have earned. Subject matter experts and resources will be there to remove the barriers they face in connecting to Veterans Affairs (VA) health care and benefits as well as empower them to advocate for themselves and others. 

It’s also designed to provide representatives from the women Veterans' community, Veterans Service Organizations (VSO), Military Service Organizations (MSO), Non-governmental Organizations (NGO), nonprofits, Veteran’s service providers, local/state/federal entities, VA employees, and other stakeholders with a forum to: 

1.     Provide and exchange information about the Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and services, 

2.     Provide access for Women Veterans to receive health screenings and benefit consultations, 

3.     Facilitate resolution to current challenges women Veterans are facing, especially any unique needs, 

4.     Discuss topics that can lead to big ideas and implementation plans that will improve care and services for women Veterans, 

5.     Engage in transparent dialogue about issues impacting women Veterans, 

6.     Share women-focused research and innovations, and 

7.     Connect with community partners.?
