The VA Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Homeless Veterans is authorized by statute and operates under the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act that provides a mechanism for an advisory committee to operate as another component of the “people’s voice” in our democratic form of government.
The VA Secretary's Advisory Committee on Homeless Veterans' primary objective is to advise the Secretary of Veterans Affairs on the provision of benefits and services to Veterans experiencing homelessness — a top priority for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). ACHV At-A-Glance.
The Committee is one of 27 VA Advisory Committees. For full list of the VA Advisory Committees, please visit: https://www.va.gov/ADVISORY/Advisory_Committees.asp
