Welcome to the Office of Procurement Policy and Warrant Management Service (PPS) Website!  PPS reports directly to the Associate Executive Director (AED) for the Office of Procurement Policy, Systems and Oversight within the Office of Acquisition and Logistics.  PPS is responsible for all Procurement Policy matters at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and with monitoring the overall health of the Department’s Warrant Management Program.

PPS Services
  • Procurement Policy Responsible for Procurement Policy matters at VA including updates to the VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR); Issuance of guidance and information.
  • Warrant Management for conducting periodic reviews of contracting officer appointment documents; providing assistance to Heads of Contracting Activities; monitoring overall health of the Department’s Warrant Management Program; and maintaining the automated Warrant Management System for warrant issuance and provide system configuration settings for agency and bureau level user accounts.
