Today, the Department of Veterans Affairs announced that Veteran trust in West Haven VA Medical Center has risen to 94.6 —up from 91.4% in 2018 (the first year since VA began conducting this survey). Additionally, nationwide trust in VA outpatient care has increased to 91.8% — up from 85.6% in 2018.
Veterans who deployed to a combat zone, never enrolled in VA health care, and left active duty between September 11, 2001 and October 1, 2013 have until 11:59pm on Sept. 30 to enroll directly in VA health care without first applying for VA benefits.
