VA Connecticut Fisher House will be holding an open house this week on May 3rd and May 4th to celebrate their six-year anniversary.

Today, the Department of Veterans Affairs announced that Veteran trust in West Haven VA Medical Center has risen to 94.6 —up from 91.4% in 2018 (the first year since VA began conducting this survey). Additionally, nationwide trust in VA outpatient care has increased to 91.8% — up from 85.6% in 2018.

Veterans who deployed to a combat zone, never enrolled in VA health care, and left active duty between September 11, 2001 and October 1, 2013 have until 11:59pm on Sept. 30 to enroll directly in VA health care without first applying for VA benefits.

The U.S. Treasury requires that all payments be made electronically to veterans, caregivers, and other stakeholders.

Veterans who deployed to a combat zone, never enrolled in VA health care, and left active duty between Sept. 1, 2001 and Oct. 1, 2013, are eligible to enroll for VA health care until 11:59pm on Sept. 30, 2023.
