Volunteer or Donate

Marion VA Medical Center depends on the goodwill of our benefactors and volunteers who wish to give something back to America's heroes.

E-Donate

Simple. Speedy. Safe. E-Donate is now available, which allows anyone who wishes to give back to Veterans a quick, safe and easy way to pledge their support. Through E-Donate, donors can select from a number of accounts at the Marion VA's health care system. The VA administrative costs are appropriated so donors can be 100% certain their donations will go directly to the funds and Veteran patients they select. A minimum of $5 is required for online donations.

Volunteering

Volunteers provide many important functions throughout the Marion VA Medical Center and help make our patients' stay more enjoyable. Volunteers can perform a number of services, and a volunteer's talents are closely matched with one of our many assignments.

Giving

Cash donations are used for the comfort and welfare of our veteran patients, including —

• Homeless Veteran Program
• hygiene products
• refreshment supplies
• cable television for patient rooms and waiting rooms
• recreational activities
• holiday activities for patients

Non-cash contributions are used to make our patients' stay more enjoyable. Items which are accepted include —

• magazines
• coffee
• new clothing
• telephone cards
