Van services for Veterans
DAV vans
Hours: Individual van schedules vary
We work with Disabled American Veterans and county Veterans Affairs directors to provide transportation for Veterans and authorized caregivers to get to scheduled medical appointments.

Beneficiary travel
Beneficiary travel benefits include round-trip transportation from your home to the medical center, mileage reimbursement, or special mode transport.
•Outpatient Clinics
•Veterans are encouraged to limit those accompanying them to those needed for patient assistance. Any person accompanying the veteran must wear a mask in clinical areas marked as high-risk areas with signs.
•Acute Care Wards
•Visitation only in patient room or other clinical ward designated area
•Limitation to two visitors at once is encouraged
•Visitors will continue to be screened for symptoms and COVID exposure and wear mask for duration of visit on acute care wards.
•Visitation remains restricted for COVID positive patients to compassionate need
•CLC
•Follows the CLC moving forward guidance on community transmission rates and facility positive cases to allow face to face visits by appointment outside or in designated areas---compassionate visits at bedside are accommodated for qualifying cases
•Families are sent updates on changes and the CLC receptionist can assist with questions

Our medical center and clinics provide consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a range of issues that may impact your mental health or emotional well-being. Our confidential outpatient services include individual and group therapy for:
- Psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression
- Marriage and relationship problems
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Anxiety, addictive behaviors, and personality disorders
- Aggressive or self-harming behaviors
Physical therapy, occupational therapy and kinesiotherapy
Physical therapy, occupational therapy and kinesiotherapy can help restore movement and function if you have been disabled by injury or disease.

Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Physical therapy provides state-of-the-art and evidence-based care to Veterans and Services members. Physical therapists examine each individual and develop a treatment plan. Evidence-based services are used to decrease disability, reduce pain, improve function and independence, prevent illness, promote wellness and restore quality of life to the Veterans and Servicemembers they serve. Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Occupational Therapists provide state-of-the-art and evidence-based care to Veterans and Service members. Occupational Therapy provides services that promote health and wellness to Veterans who have, or are at risk for developing, an injury, illness, disease or condition spanning physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial domains. Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment supports Veterans' engagement in everyday life activities that affect their physical, and mental health and well-being. Specialty services provided by James H. Quillen VAMC Occupational Therapists include:

Telehealth uses the latest in secure technology to set up remote clinical video visits with VA healthcare providers. Telehealth offers VA Video Connect (VVC) appointments, Clinical Video connect (CVT) appointments, Store-and-Forward (SFT), MyHealtheVet, and Home Telehealth services at all our VA locations.
