Enterprise Acquisition Systems Service
The Department of Veterans Affairs has established the Enterprise Acquisition Systems (EAS) Service in Frederick, Maryland. The mission of EAS is to provide consistent, modern, integrated procurement automation tools to the VA acquisition community which meets the needs of users and management. EAS is dedicated to providing acquisition and program management expertise and support for life cycle management of enterprise-wide solutions relative to VA acquisition.
Acquisition Systems
- Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) CPARS hosts a suite of web-enabled applications that are used to document contractor and grantee performance information that is required by Federal Regulations.
- Federal Business Opportunities (FBO or FedBizOpps) Provides a “one-stop” gateway to federal business opportunities over $25,000.
- Federal Procurement Data System—Next Generation Allows millions of procurement transactions from across the federal government to be recorded and reported upon in real-time.
- System for Award Management The SAM combines federal procurement systems and the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance into one system.
- VA Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS)/Vendor Portal A comprehensive tool used by VA Acquisition staff to create and manage VA acquisitions
- VA Forecast of Contracting Opportunities (FCO) VA’ best estimate of procurement opportunities during the current fiscal year.
