Veterans Day 2020: Honoring the 30th Anniversary of the Gulf War
In recognition of Veterans Day 2020 NCVAS developed an online story, Veterans Day 2020: Honoring the 30th Anniversary of the Gulf War. It recognizes the service of the cohort of veterans who served in the Pre-911 Gulf War era, 2) reports trends in their utilization of VA benefits and services, and 3) encourages all Veterans to apply for the benefits and services they have earned.

VA Utilization Profile 2016
VA’s report delivers a wide array of benefits and services to eligible Veterans, dependents and survivors to help ease the transition from the military to civilian life and to improve quality of life. This profile highlights these programs, which are overseen by three administrations: Veterans Health Adminitration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration, (VBA) and National Cemetery Administration (NCA). VHA, provides Health Care and Pharmacy, VBA, provides Compensation and Pension disability benifits, Education Assistance, Life Insurance, Vocational Rehabilitation/employment services, and Home Loan Guaranty assistance. NCA provides memorial benefits including graves, markers, flags, medallions and burial allowances.
