About the National Center for Healthcare Advancement and Partnerships
The mission of the VHA National Center for Healthcare Advancement and Partnerships is to ensure partnerships and health care advancements support Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors across social determinants of health.
VHA is committed to pursuing public-private partnerships (P3s) and exploring new and innovative ways to support VA’s mission. To meet large scale and complex challenges requiring cross-sector solutions and collaboration, VHA engages in P3s that leverage the full range of our Nation’s talent, ingenuity, and commitment to action. These partnerships further the VA’s mission and priorities, build capacity, and create platforms for sharing resources to better serve Veterans, their families, caregivers, survivors, and other beneficiaries. Enhancing community partnerships is an important component of VHA’s strategic direction. Partnerships facilitated by HAP support VHA’s commitment to providing excellent customer service, restoring public trust, and delivering personalized, proactive, patient-driven health care.
