More than 90 communities experienced declines of 25% or more in homelessness among Veterans between 2018 and 2019.
More than 800,000 Veterans and their family members have been permanently housed, rapidly rehoused, or prevented from falling into homelessness by VA’s homelessness programs and HUD’s targeted housing vouchers since 2010.
To date, 82 communities and three states—Connecticut, Delaware, and Virginia—have successfully ended Veteran homelessness.
