Why did you become a social worker? What do you like about working in homeless programs?
I became a social worker to be the voice for those who are vulnerable and disenfranchised. I love to see the hope in their eyes when they turn the key to their new home.
Who is recognizing you for 2021 SW Appreciation Month and why? (We can add this information if needed)
Supervisor nominates the entire Durham VA/ Greenville HCC homeless program for its grit and resiliency and staying steadfast in the mission to help Veterans who are homeless.
