Why did you become a social worker? What do you like about working in homeless programs?
I was a receiver of service at the El Paso VA Homeless Program and I learned so much that I wanted to give back—being part of a Veteran's life and having doors open/opportunities happen to improve the quality of their life or their family's life.
What do you do for fun? Favorite Quote? What else would you like to share about yourself?
I enjoy being active in pool exercise, traveling, and expanding my world view. I have 3 cats that have shared in my life for 15 years. I also enjoy watching live boxing. I fought my homeless recovery path and won. I fought my cancer path and keep fighting.
