- Research Interests
- My overall research goal is to investigate etiologies, systemic disease associations, and treatments for ocular disease. As a uveitis specialist with a background in clinical and translational research, I am motivated to pursue research projects that may benefit my patient population. Currently, I am investigating scleritis outcomes and treatments in the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Intelligent Research in Sight registry. I also am using Veterans Health Administration databases to evaluate ocular disease in US Veterans, with a focus on ocular inflammation, cataract surgery, and ocular toxicity of systemic medications.
