- I have had a long-standing interest in cancer biology, structural biology, and cancer therapy. In the last several years, the VA has worked to get Veterans better access to clinical trials, and as part of this effort, I am the contact PI for an infrastructure grant for 6 VA sites within VA Midwest Health Care Network (VISN23) as part of the larger nationwide VA Lung Cancer Precision Oncology Program (LPOP). I am also the Local Co-PI for the VA-NCI NAVIGATE Program, a 12-site consortium in the VA to increase cancer clinical trial accrual, and am a Local Site Investigator for the NIH All of Us Program.
