- Research Interests
- For the last 23 years I have worked as a statistician and research methodologist at the Minneapolis VA. I have extensive experience working on research projects investigating mental health outcomes, especially in the areas of PTSD and substance use disorders, including tobacco dependence. I am currently serving as statistician on several studies including a RCT investigating the use of pioglitazone to reduce alcohol consumption in heavy drinkers, a project examining the use of tDCS to enhance cognitive training in Veterans with psychotic disorders, and an RCT of a computer based CBTM for individuals with comorbid alcohol and anxiety disorders.
