- Research Interests
- My primary research interest is the pathophysiological assessment and diagnosis of psychiatric and neurologic disease using the neuroimaging methods of magnetoencephalography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), particularly functional MRI. I have experience in both resting-state and task related designs. My clinical work focuses on neurodegenerative diseases affecting cognition and movement. This work has centered on movement disorders, with Parkinson’s disease prominently represented. I have over 20 years’ experience in the treatment of this disorder, including pre-surgical assessment of and post-surgical programming of deep brain stimulator implants.
