- Research Interests
- Dr. Disner's research focuses on understanding the biological mechanisms underlying trauma-related psychopathology, including PTSD and the aftereffects of mild TBI. By integrating diverse research approaches, including neuroimaging, genetic, and cognitive techniques, he hopes to lay the groundwork for more precise assessment and rehabilitation of trauma sequelae in returning Veterans.
