Wheelchair availability: Wheelchairs are available upon arrival for patients who need them to access the building.
Van services for Veterans
Available on Mondays and Wednesdays as follows:
- Depart Globe-Miami VA Clinic at 7:30 a.m.
- Depart Superior Circle K - 831 S. Western Avenue at 8 a.m.
Arrive at Phoenix VA Health Care System at approximately 9 a.m. The VA Shuttle Van will return to the Superior/Globe area as soon as patient appointments are completed, but not later than 1:30 p.m.
Veterans should call seven days ahead of their appointment to schedule their rides at
Calls will be returned within 48 hours.
Veterans must be able to walk and get into the van at their own power. No wheelchair access is available for this transportation.
Beneficiary travel
Beneficiary travel benefits include round-trip transportation from your home to the medical center, mileage reimbursement, or special mode transport.

Our pharmacy provides you and other Veterans with convenient, efficient service to make it easy to get your medications and medical supplies.
You can:
- Pick up new prescriptions in person
- Refill prescriptions online and by phone or mail
- Safely dispose of medicines
Primary care
Your VA primary care provider will work closely with you to plan for all the care you need to stay healthy and well throughout your life, including immunizations and vaccinations. They will also work with family members or caregivers who support you.

A strong network of family and internal medicine specialists and services can offer you the best possible care. Internal medicine doctors (internists) prevent, diagnose, and treat adult diseases. Doctors who specialize in family medicine provide primary health care to the entire family.
