Today, VA announced that all Veterans who were exposed to toxins and other hazards while serving in the military – at home or abroad – are now eligible to enroll directly in VA health care.

VA St. Louis Health Care System announced today that it earned a 4 out of 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This is the first time CMS has included VA facilities in their annual Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings.

Last week, VA St. Louis Health Care System’s Jefferson Barracks campus joined John Cochran Hospital and the more than 70 other VA medical centers nationwide where Veterans can now enroll in-person into the Million Veteran Program (MVP).

VA St. Louis Health Care System announced that Dr. Thomas Chung, MD, MBA, joined the hospital staff in June and has assumed the role of Chief, Radiation Oncology at John Cochran VA Hospital.
