VHA Executive Management Fellowship

The VHA Executive Management Fellowship (EMF) is an up to 12-month long experience established by the VA Choice and Quality Employment Act of 2017 for a select number of healthcare professionals to strengthen learning partnerships between the VA and the private sector.  Designed to expose emerging executives to evolving clinical and leadership practices in other healthcare industry partners and organizations, this opportunity will help to leverage those best practices as well as provide industry partners with a greater understanding of how VHA serves America’s Veterans.

This fellowship can be designed by organizations to be full-time or part-time and either in-person or virtual.

Currently four VHA employees are enrolled or have completed the program.
