VHA Leadership, Effectiveness, Accountability, and Development
The VHA LEAD program is a tiered continuum of leadership development at the local and network levels in VHA. LEAD helps develop leadership skills by strengthening the All Employee and Leadership Core Competencies. Strengthening these competencies assists employees in taking on additional levels of responsibility within the organization.
Participants are considered high potential employees desiring leadership positions within the VA.
