VHA Governance Board Shadowing
The VHA Governance Board Shadowing program exposes VHA Medical Center Directors to VHA’s governance structures and national committees and provides insight on what happens at a VHA Governance Board meeting (formerly known as the National Leadership Council- NLC).
The primary role of the participant is an observer and not an Governance Board member. However, participants should not be surprised if VHA leadership asks for their perspective, thoughts, or insights on any particular topic.
