Executive Management Fellowship Announcement
The Executive Management Fellowship program provides VA employees the opportunity to obtain training and experience in the private sector and offers an opportunity for employees of the private sector to train and learn about the operations at VHA facilities.
The Institute for Learning, Education, and Development (ILEAD) is pleased to announce the Fiscal Year 2025 Executive Management Fellowship (EMF).
EMF is an external fellowship program offered through ILEAD, which was established in response to the VA Choice and Quality Employment Act of 2017 to allow employees of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) to gain experience related to the delivery of health care services outside of VHA. The fellowship provides VA employees the opportunity to obtain training and experience in the private sector and offers an opportunity for employees of the private sector to train and learn about the operations at VHA facilities. Eligible employees will participate in innovative strategies, practices and technologies that will assist in transforming the care of Veterans.
The program is open to high-performing VHA employees in grades GS 13-GS 15 or Title 38 equivalent. The fellowship will start in early October, and the duration is up to 12 months.
